Just my Take on the Bun Bo Hue. Alright, so I recently hit up Banh Mi Che Cali Bakery & Restaurant #6068, and I wanted to share my thoughts, especially since I tried their Bun Bo Hue. First off, the Bun Bo Hue cost me $10. The broth tasted really good – savory and flavorful. Honestly, I enjoyed the soup a lot. The only thing was, it was missing a few of the typical ingredients I usually find in Bun Bo Hue. I'm talking about the pork blood cubes, pig's feet, and pork balls. I know, not everyone's cup of tea, but I personally like those additions. Even with those items missing, I still thought the soup was delicious, and for just $10, I felt like I got good value. It's a solid option if you're looking for a tasty and affordable noodle soup. Beyond the Bun Bo Hue, the restaurant itself was pretty nice. It's spacious and clean, which is always a plus. They're also really well-known for their banh mi, and they have this great deal where you can buy 2 and get 1 free. Plus, they have a bunch of other Vietnamese treats and dishes that looked really tempting. I'm definitely planning on trying some of those out next time. Overall, if you're looking for good food at a reasonable price, especially if you're trying to be budget-conscious, Banh Mi Che Cali #6068 seems like a solid spot. They offer good value for what you pay.
They don't know how to get orders correct. I asked for 3 sandwiches and got 2. The first and the last time. Plus, their kitchen is dirty and gross. They need to start cleaning.
I eat here often. Guess you could call me a regular. The Pho is very flavorful. I can eat it anytime of the day, and I often do. It's not just the flavor, it's the ritual of tearing the fresh Basil and breaking the jalapeno into bite size pieces to spice it up to my liking. Breaking open the chopsticks to stir the noodles into the steaming broth. Then I blend the Sriracha with the sweet teriyaki on the plate to dip my chicken. The routine is satisfying and slow paced for my enjoyment. Sipping the broth and slurping the noodles is so satisfying. I forget I'm in a country who's politics have created so much division. It's my sanctuary. I love this place.
I would sue this place if I could. First of all, there are flies everywhere, flying around the food! It's disgusting! I told the cashier up front that there were flies on the food they're serving to customers, and she couldn't care less. Second, she completely messed up my order by adding fish, even though I never said I wanted it. I never like fish and its smell so I couldn't eat it, but instead of fixing the order, she just kept removing the fish. Such a disrespectful and ignorant attitude! I used to eat here every day, but now the whole place disgusts me. Avoid this place at all costs!
The manager told us we had to pay for tap water with our meal 1.00 charge because we ordered sandwiches . This is illegal in state of California. The bread is dry and coarse u can choke and need water . This is really nasty video below of the manager denying me tap water with my meal . I reported this to health dept and to the city of Westminster Ca. Please do the same . Tap water is a human right in California restaurants
